I have extremely oily, acne prone skin rn and I struggle with the dilemma whether to use a moisturiser or not but the treatments I’ve been using for my acne is really making my skin feel tight so I needed a little of moisture, and this is it 💯❤️, another moisturiser which really suited me was simple’s ultra light liquid moisturiser but it is always unavailable at the limited places it is marketed and this Lakmé moisturiser kind of has similar ingredients which is really great but for what it’s worth it won’t give anyone 12hrs of matte finish I think 4 5 hours is the max it could do. Anyways I am loving it !

After applying the lakme matte mattifying moisturiser , the product is leaving a white residue after few moments and that gives awful look on the face.

I bought this moisturizer based off some reviews I saw online but it doesn not work for me at ANY level. The tea tree extract is too strong and irritates the skin upon application. Would not recommend to those with even mildly sensitive skin.

I wanted to try this moisturizer at first since I have an oily skin and thought it would give amazing results but to my disappointment, this moisturizer turned to a nightmare!! First of all, its smell is Pungent & unbearable. Secondly, it made my skin painfully dry. I had got pimples grew all over my face followed by a rough and bumpy texture. Would never recommend it to anyone. So disappointed!

I bought this after seeing reviews from the YouTube about it being one of the best sought creams for oily skin. Turned out a nightmare. I have oily t-zone area and this cream made my skin flaky and dry. The formula is weird as in it will feel like applying alovera gel and as soon as it sets on the skin, it feels like talcum powder and it starts shedding powdery substance residue. Overall its not even for oily skin people.

I have oily skin even in peak winter so I am in fire need of some good mattifying moisturizer but this one is just pasted powder, when you apply this to your skin at first it will look like your normal moisturizer but the moment it dries it becomes visibal powder just sitting in your skin, if you accidentally rub your skin a tiny bit youll look like someone whos skin is coming off coz the white particulars will gather in the place you touch and this are not compact like powder but huge crystal build-up on your skin. Used only few times since I dont want to aggravate my pores by putting this kind of paste on it. Dont by for mattifying effect buy a good compact.

I ordered this first time and i found it just awesome on my face. My face skin is pretty oily on side area and dry on nose area means combination one. This is so smooth and works really well on my skin. I have tried lost of moisturizer and creams but it is just i loved it for daily use.

After applying it i felt some kind of powder thing on my face like compact or what powder powder!!!!!Use Aloe vera gel rather than this as aloe will moisturizes your face very well. Very bad

Am not sure why lakme has named this product as moisturizer. Its extra extra matt and leaves your skin dry and flaky and leaves white cast also. Its like a fair and lovely type texture which can be used for whiteness. 1 star not worth buying at all

The smell is overpowering. It causes breakout

It is Lakme’s aloe vera gel whipped with compact. So basically, the mattifying effect comes because of the fine layer of powder it leaves on your skin. The gel gets absorbed but the powder stay back. If you wipe your face after five minutes of applying with a dark colored fabric, you will understand what I am explaining. You dont even need a wet wipe to clean it. A dry fabric will do. So overall it is okay to use, if someone who is very cautious about their complexion and applies face powder. You can use this instead.

It has paraben which causes skin irritation and redness.I recently got this product and after applying it i got redness and burning sensation.

I have combination plus acne prone skin. I ordered it a few days back. I dont think this product is for me. As, winters are coming and my skin goes more towards the dry side, so it didnt work for me. Also, it has fragnance which is a big no no for sensitive skin. Plus when you apply it, the skin tingles a bit. So, i didnt like this product . If you have oily skin, it might work for you though. P. S. If you are looking for a mattifying moisturiser, Plum green tea matte mousturiser is amazing.

This is a total dupe for the plum mattifying green tea moisturizer , n the consistancy is kinda gel like but plum is actually more on the creamy gel watery like consistancy , not a big fan of this moisturizer wld definitely prefer plum more than this ,plus Lakme isnt a cruelty free or vegan brand when plum is so looking at the pros other than price wld prefer plum n plum does give a good result for acne prone and oily skin , so yuh....
