A very decent powder at this price range. It sets my makeup very well. The fit me concealer just after application seems like it settled into the small lines under my eyes which i never knew i had btw looks very bad up close though not visible from afar but this powder sort of camouflages the effect so i can finish up that nasty concealer. Now i didnt expect this to be comparable to any high end powder but its very good on its own. I recommend everyone to try at least once and since it isnt too yellow like other brand banana powders you can use it for setting your blush, corners of eyeshadow or contours; it wont change the color. My makeup didnt budge for 6hrs when i applied this. But remember to use it in only required amount otherwise your base color will be affected. The powder wasnt dry for me just moisturize your skin really well and apply a hydrating or glowy sunscreen itll look awesome and not emphasize the dry patches. The biggest con though IT DOESNT HAVE ANY INGREDIENT LIST. Its true it didnt cause any reaction on me even though i used it for 6 times i think but an ingredient list is absolutely essential we have the right to know what we are applying to our face since we are paying for this product. I am still on the lookout for a talc-free powder with minimal ingredients for everyday use since i will be needing it for my college and a good very light coverage concealer. Hoping to find my hg soon🤞

Lightweight product perfectly sets face. I personally like to set my face without having it look to dry or cakey so this product does the perfect job at that. Its like any other powder in the market. What I like about this is that even if you choose a wrong shade, you wont need to worry because this blends well into the skin. What I dislike about this is the packaging, the box has a net opening through which the product dispenses. But this works well if you have a beauty blender (i havent used a makeup brush so i dont know about how that works) but if you try with a sponge, hardly any product is picked up.

I am a make-up artist, I wanted to try kay beauty HD loose setting powder, Bought Olive shade and it matches all medium skin tones. Seamless finish and ultra smooth it equals all those high end counter parts, even better I would say. It felt like laura Mercier replica. Go for it!

Go for it. Its so multipurpose. U can use it for baking, no makeup look(just apply after bb cream) and as setting powder. U wont need a compact when u have this.

I use it for setting concealer under the eyes and it does the job well but there is some creasing which I am still learning to deal with. But overall a very good product. My make up would be incomplete without it.

I have a very oily T-zone that eats away heavy makeup, so I was desperately looking for a matte loose powder to keep the oils at bay and my makeup without patches. This product works great and my skin genuinely enjoys it. It keeps my makeup in place and with a good primer and setting spray, the makeup doesn’t move or get patchy. I found this shade to be 1 tone darker for my suiting, but the product itself is a great rescue if you struggle with stubbornly oily T-zone. One inconvenience is the packaging functionality. You can only use a small brush to extract the product and cannot transfer onto a sponge for baking easily.

I had been using a drugstore compact for ages. When it broke down accidentally, I thought of giving this one a try for I had heard rave reviews. It lives up to every word. It works easily upto 5-6 hours and gives a nice Matt finish even on the hottest and humid of days. Totally worth it.

J switched from Maybelline and i am not impressed. The powder is fine in texture but doesn’t do the job for me. Also, taking it out on a brush is s task due to packaging design. I dont see why I should replace Maybelline loose powder with this one.

Writing this review after 1+ year of using it. It’s definitely an awesome powder, I use it on normal days when I don’t want to use heavy makeup - it blends seamlessly into my skin and gives it a nice blurred matte look. The powder is extremely soft because it’s so finely milled. Almost feels like you have no makeup on your skin. Would recommend buying this if you don’t like the feeling of a lot of products on your skin and if you tend to sweat a lot. It’s been a year since I got it and I still have about half left.

This is the first time that I am purchasing the loose powder. The shade is good. And it gives u a Matt finish. I felt like it absorbs oil from the face making it super dry. My skin type is oily and I don’t use moisturiser on face. But while using the powder I guess I have to go for a moisture before application. Package is so good and quantity is ok ok as I don’t use it more often. For Ppl who use the product on a daily basis the quantity is very less.

The powder does what it promises. The powder is finely milled and spreads evenly. Very easy to use and great packaging. The only con is the amount of quantity. It could have been more for the price you pay.

I was looking for a losses powder in budget and yet from a brand. I have used Kay beauty products earlier but was not really happy with the quality. But this loose powder surprised me, I ordered Banana shade. I like the product, it instantly soaks oil from the face can be used as a retouch product. Looks wise packaging was good, but utility is not. Taking out the product from the container becomes difficult.

However Im not entirely comfortable with the packaging, the design thats meant to make the powder finely milled, instead makes it difficult to get out enough powder. I have always been using Laura mercier translucent setting powder and wanted to try something new for a change, I am so glad I did with this one! I got the same finish and to my surprise I like this more than the LM powder. for shade reference I am Mac nc35, banana is a perfect translucent powder and I will continue to purchase this from now on.

As a loose powder, it is not as a fine-milled as one would wish it to be for a true HD setting effect. To a great extent, you feel it on the face - not cakey- but present.

I was so excited to try this powder given how happy I have been with other Kay beauty products. While it is a lightweight powder that offers a nice range of shades for Indian skin, the consistency is quite clumpy. I found it clumped on bare skin, and over my foundation as well. Despite blending it for a long time with a brush! See pic for the difference between my Body Shop compact and the vanilla loose powder. It isn’t very fine milled. I don’t recommend it.

I never expected a loose powder with such a reasonable price tag to work so nicely. Before this Fit me loose powder was my holy grail but for me Kay beauty loose powder superseded it. It is very finely milled and sets your makeup in place without looking too heavy. Does not settle in fine lines under the eyes, rather make them look blurred out.This is available in so many shades of which is a plus. This product is brilliant.I’m looking forward to Katrina launching more base makeup products which will cater to people of every skintone.

The powder is extremely finely milled and feels like butter on your hands. It is very translucent and hence wont change the colour of your foundation/concealer. The shade banana will work for a good range of skin tones as it has a yellow undertone which is ideal for a lot of indian skin tones. Even though the shade is lighter than my skintone, it blends in beautifully and matches my skin perfectly. You dont need to worry about having an exact skin tone match with this powder due to this reason.

This powder is very finely milled and it is good for your face if you lightly dab it. However, if you want to bake your under eye contour, then I would suggest you go for 3-4 shades lighter than your skin tone. I had initially bought the toffee shade but it made my under eyes dark, so I again bought the olive shade. However even that made my under eyes look dark. So instead I use the Maybelline loose powder for my under eyes baking and use this powder only as a face powder

My shade is peccan which suits me well.the powder is so fine and after application it controls oil to some extent and yet feels smooth .many powders mattify your skin well but can feel dry sometimes but this one doesnt maybe the presence of avocado butter hepls?.I do feel its bit pricey for the quantity but quality is good so chalega.i am nc 45.i am liking to use it regularly and became my favourite next to Maybelline fit me in drugstore range.

This has become kinda my favourite setting powder now. Earlier I was using revolution banana powder. Woth most of the powders I notice my face looks cakey and a bit fake xD This Kay beauty one I foiyto be very light weight, not cakey or would not crack down after hours (baking powder users know what I mean) and this stays for really long. Longevity is important for me the most ?

It is best for dry skin,those who are looking for a great loose powder can invest in this,it smoothes the skin gently,sets the foundation and concealer very nicely,stays for a longer time.

Very finely milled and blends beautifully! I use it to set and highlight over my Mac powder and it works very well for oily skin.

Wouldnt really say its oil control. My skin is really oily and it got oily after a short amount of time of applying this. Nonetheless, it did give a good touch to the face. Probably try it. Its better than other loose powders.

Best one .totally mattifies as it claims to ..Finely milled and super smooth and does mattify. A little pricy but I got it at a good discount and nykaa points ..less Quantity though but doesnt spill out here & there unlike others & remains intact & very less is enough to make a drastic difference. This is in the shade banana

Easy to use, multi purpose product. Glides on the skin so smoothly, I use it without any foundation or compact also. It brightens up the skin. Really happy with this product

This powder is amazing, very fine and gives a poreless finish. I’m obsessed the only draw back is that I’m an NC42 and Pecan shade is dark for my skin tone. So if you’re of my skin tone please take a shade lighter.

This is the smoothest loose powder. Buttery soft, finely milled , applies nicely on the skin but the coverage is medium. Sets your foundation and concealer nicely. Stays for a good time. This shade has a slight pink tone to it . Will suit fair to medium skin tone. But the banana shade is slightly on the yellow side.

Its a good product and can be used for baking as well as a setting powder but the only drawback is it’s packaging because it’s difficult to get the powder out.

I have used the makeup revolution banana powder,maybelline fit me loose powder in medium and now i tried the kay beauty banana powder. Hands down it has the finest packaging(product doesnt spill out) and also the powder doesnt dry down your skin. However it would not provide full coverage like the maybelline fit me one. But if you do not want very high coverage and have very dry skin then go for it. Its quality and quantity is good for the price point n it surely gives a highend feel.

I adore this powder - it’s fantastic to beat the sweaty highlights we get on our faces thanks to this humid & hot climate. It can totally be used on a well moisturised face, with a bit of lip gloss and eyeliner for a very natural yet neat look. I’m loving the colour range too; pecan is perfect for my latte coffee-tone !

Kay Beauty never fails in one thing and that is quality. I am NC 44.5 and I bought Caramel. At first it looked very dark for me but once I applied it looks exactly like my skin. Just perfect.
