a little drop of it is enough to add a sheen onto your skin but it is quiet thick that requires a fast application else it may add a patchy look on your skin

I have oily acne prone combination skin and havent used this product much. I was looking for a light weight non irritating highlighter which I can use directly on my face as I dont apply makeup. This has the perfect subtle glow to it and can be applied directly to your high points or can be mixed with moisturiser and applied. Doesnt breaks me out and adds that light natural sheen to my face.

This Strobing Cream is quite reflective in formulation which is because of high content of mica in it. I was hoping for it to be more dewy and wet looking (i.e have a pearl finish) rather than reflective (which is a mica finish). Cannot recommend it as a Highlighter if youre looking for a lit-from-within glow but only as a strobing cream or a mixing medium in a foundation. Overall not what I anticipated but Im still okay with the purchase.

Can’t expect such a pathetic product from Maybelline. It’s like a glitter only. If you are going to apply it as a primer, which the product asks you to do, you will end up looking like a ghost. No matter how hard you blend it , a weird whitish glittery look you will have. Stay away from this product and Please save your money. I wish I could rate it in negative.

Overall the product is good. Illuminates your skin even if applied in very small quantity. So dont over-apply it as it will look too shimmery. The particles are very small yet visible. Not for daily use. Also, I wouldnt recommend it for people with oily skin as it is in cream form, which will make your skin look more shiny (oily), specially in summer. The Nude shade is for people with warm (yellow) undertone whereas the Pink shade is for cool undertones. So, you may choose your shade accordingly.

It is very much pigmented and you have to only touch it to the areas you want to highlight. Do not use more than that. You can give it a shot but not a great product though!

You can see the sparkling substance and that makes it look like a cheap product. Would suggest wearing it under the foundation. Cannot be used for daily purpose unless you want your skin to look like you wore a sparkle glue from your art project.

So damn amazing guys i m gonna tell completely honest review on this because i know that reviews do help us a lot so guys this is in the firm of a shimmery cream and has to to applied on the high points of the face.I personally have bought the pink shade of this maybelline strobing cream nd if you are confused with the shades so here i tell you that the pink shade is for the medium to fair skin tonned people and the other one is for dark or dusky skin tonned people nd you can even apply it on your collar bone as a highlighter .so basically you can use this cream as a highlighter but the actual trick nd method to apply this cream is that apply this cream on the high points and then wear the foundation .the real aim of the cream is to give a natural dewy look which it does perfectly nd im compltely satisfied with the product people in the comments were saying that this is a small tube so yes it is but you have to take only small amount only so this is a perfect pne you are not doing any mistske buy this product without thinking nd without taking advice from others

The nude shade is perfect for medium to dark skin tone. However the pink shade will suit light skin tone better. Its not blinding but has a subtle sheen. Wouldnt say its a very natural looking glow but once you know to work around it its not bad.

Though it has chunky glitter in it, but I like it more than Nykaas strobe liquid gold mine highlighter. As this does not make your complexion darker like Nykaas liquid strobe. Little is enough. Just a dot and you are ready. You can use it on eyelids also as eyeshadow. You can mix it with moisturizer, lotion, primer, foundations (Maybelline 330toffee). Use as body glow. It is sweat and smudge proof. Blends easily. For All skin tones. I will recommend it if you dont mind negligible chunky particles.

Been using this for 2 years now. And it gives me the exact natural highlight I want. Before, I used it with Maybelline Velvet Foundation. But now, I use it with Oriflames The One foundation.

This is a very good drugstore strobing cream and I feel like it can be used as an alternative to the MAC Strobing creams. But you have to be careful to not overdo the application as you might end up looking like a disco ball.

Im a little confused as to what to say about this product but I really like it but at the same time Im a little disappointed because given the price range, I expected a big tube and it also looks like it in the picture but its a small tube, size of the palm. However, u need less than a drop to work with it, so I feel like this makes up for the small size. I dont like the effect when I use it alone but when I mixed it with moisturizer I loved the subtle glow it gave because I love natural makeup. So I dont think its good for layering but I think next time I’d buy makeup revolution highlighter if I really HAVE to invest so much in a highlighter.

Got the shade Nude. It is golden in color and will suit deeper skin tones only. It also has tiny shimmer particles which dont look natural. I couldnt see any difference in my base by mixing it with a foundation or using it before my foundation. In my opinion, it can only be used as a highlighter on top of your foundation. It stays for a decent amount of time.

The best part about this product is you dont need it too much. Just a bit will do the trick.

I mix a little with my olay total effects and voila, I am ready to take on the day. Works like magic as a highlighter too.

Because of the positive review, I got this strobing cream in the variant pink but I dont know why I saw shimmer particles all over my skin. its looks so glittery and artificial and if you apply it underneath of your foundation it just doesnt show off. Bought this product after rave reviews. It does its job. Its gives silver shimmery glow to the face. But its not the best product. Even if you blend the fluid with make up/ face, the silver glitter particles are visible. Its not suitable for oily or combination skin as it clogs pores and causes itching and break outs.

This product is too shimmery. You can actually see the shimmer distinctly. Personally, I dont like that thats why this product was a huge disappointment. When you mix it with the foundation it lightens its shade making you look ashy. Also, when you use it individually, youd look like a disco ball especially around your eyes (if you have dark circles its going to look even worse) . Again, a huge disappointment.

The product is ideally supposed to be applied by fingertips. No matter how much the cream is blended into the skin, it still gives a patchy unnatural finish and exaggerates the texture of the skin making any pores appear bigger. Another negative is because of how fast the product dries on application leaving little wiggle room for blending it in. I would recommend searching for other liquid illuminators.
