Hi, I am suffering from constipation, straining, pain with bowel movements. I tried different diet so that I can have a proper bowel movement. I went to many doctors. All they suggested to change my diet. For few weeks I took only fruits. But there was no effect. So one of my friends suggested going to a pelvic floor physiotherapist in Toronto. When I reached there the physiotherapists by used internal and external “hands-on” or manual techniques to evaluate the function of the pelvic floor muscles. And he said that I am suffering from hypertonicity. He suggested me to take pelvic floor physiotherapy. I am planning to undergo this. Are there any other things that I can try? Please help me out.
